Policy

Return and Refund Policy·

Effective date: September 2, 2026

Default policy: final sale

Unless a product page or boutique message clearly says otherwise, purchases on Tabisha Couture are final sale. This means there is no automatic right to return, refund, exchange, or cancel an order after purchase. South Asian formalwear, saris, jewelry, and boutique pieces are often limited-quantity, altered, delicate, or event-based, so the marketplace default is final sale.

Cancellation window

If you need to cancel an order, use the private message link on your order page as quickly as possible. Cancellations may be considered only before the boutique has shipped, packed for dispatch, begun custom work, or otherwise committed fulfillment costs. Once an item has shipped, cancellation requests generally move through the return or exchange review process.

Vendor inventory updates

Vendors must immediately mark a product as sold when it is sold outside this website. If a vendor fails to update inventory and the same product is purchased through Tabisha Couture, the vendor must provide the customer with a full refund and bear the applicable Stripe or other payment-gateway processing fees.

Boutiques may approve exceptions

A boutique may choose to approve a refund, partial refund, exchange, or alteration support. Any exception is voluntary unless required by law and must be confirmed in writing by the selling boutique. Tabisha Couture supplies the private communication and payment tools but does not arbitrate exception requests. If a boutique approves a return, the buyer may be responsible for return shipping unless the boutique says otherwise.

When a return is approved, the product must be sent back promptly in its original folds, condition, packaging, tags, and included accessories. Items returned worn, altered, scented, damaged, missing tags, or packed in a way that reduces resale value may be refused or may receive only a partial refund or store credit. Non-defect returns may be subject to a service charge or restocking deduction if disclosed by the boutique or required to cover payment and handling costs.

Problems with an order

Use the private message link on your order page promptly if an item is not delivered, arrives damaged, appears counterfeit, or is materially different from the listing. Include your order number, photos of the packaging and item, and a clear description of the issue.

The boutique may request additional information, review carrier records, and determine whether a refund, replacement, repair, store credit, claim, or other accommodation is appropriate.

Non-returnable situations

Boutiques generally do not approve returns or refunds for buyer remorse, wrong event color, sizing expectations not supported by the listing, minor color variation caused by screen or lighting differences, delays outside a stated guaranteed delivery promise, items worn or altered after delivery, or issues reported after a reasonable review period.

Unless they arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from the listing, non-returnable items may include custom or personalized orders, stitched blouses, pre-stitched or ready-to-wear sarees, petticoats, intimate items, perishable goods, digital items, final sale items, and sale or clearance items.

Return shipping, duties, and lost value

Buyers are responsible for return postage unless the boutique confirms otherwise in writing. For any approved international return, customs duties, import charges, taxes, brokerage fees, and carrier surcharges are the buyer's responsibility unless required by law. If an item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer may be responsible for the loss in value.

Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you open a payment dispute with your card issuer, Stripe or the card network may control the dispute process. We may provide order, shipping, communication, and policy records to respond. Contacting the boutique through the private order conversation first is often the fastest way to resolve a genuine issue.
