Frequently Asked Questions·
What is Tabisha Couture?
Tabisha Couture is a U.S.-focused marketplace for South Asian fashion from independent boutiques, starting with saris, jewelry, menswear, and celebration pieces.
Who sells the products?
Each boutique is an independent seller. Tabisha Couture provides the marketplace, checkout, listing tools, and a private customer-to-boutique message center.
Are returns available?
By default, purchases are final sale. The selling boutique alone decides voluntary exceptions and communicates them directly with the customer through the private order conversation. Tabisha Couture supplies the marketplace and documentation tools but does not arbitrate return requests. Non-waivable legal and payment-network rights still apply.
How does cancellation work?
Submit a cancellation request promptly through the private order conversation. The selling boutique reviews the request and decides whether it can be accepted based on the order status and applicable policy. Tabisha Couture does not offer cash on delivery or local pickup and does not automatically cancel an order solely because inventory may be stale.
How does shipping work?
Boutiques pack and ship their own orders. Merchandise prices, selected EasyPost shipping, and any Stripe-calculated sales tax are shown separately before payment. Tabisha Couture collects marketplace-facilitator tax where it is registered; boutiques remain responsible for taxes Tabisha Couture does not expressly handle.
Why do handmade items have small variations?
Handwoven, hand-dyed, embroidered, and handmade pieces may show slight differences in shade, texture, weave, motif placement, edging, tassels, or finish. These characteristics are part of handmade work and are not considered defects unless the item is materially different from the listing.
Can I save items?
Saved items require a shopper account. If you are signed out, the saved-items icon will ask you to sign in.
Is checkout real?
Tabisha Couture is currently a private test environment. Stripe test cards are used and no real customer charge or boutique payout is created.
Are descriptions or images AI-assisted?
Some descriptions and images may be created or enhanced with AI assistance. Vendor-stated details such as Silk Mark certification, included blouse fabric, fall/pico finishing, tassels, and special weave names should be preserved in the listing. Shoppers should still review the written details and message the boutique with questions before purchase.
How do boutiques join?
Founding boutiques are onboarded personally. Tabisha Couture helps prepare listings, payments, and the boutique storefront before launch.
How do I contact a boutique?
Open your order page and choose Message boutique. Your categorized message goes directly to the boutique that handles the order, and their reply appears in the same private conversation.
